Production Maserati Quattroporte 2013 started this week
After the online presentation of the new Maserati Quattroporte 2013, now the actual production has started in Grugliasco, Turin. After a thorough testing phase at Officine Maserati Grugliasco SpA, they have this week started with producing 15 units a day. As of next year, the goal is to achieve 130 produced cars a day. That they have now already started the production has everything to do with the global market introduction which we will soon be able to witness.
Things haven’t settled down yet, though, at Maserati, as they are already working on the new E-segment Ghibli, which will be built on a shorter variant of the same platform. The completion of this second project will take place in July 2013 already. This says a lot about the importance of this 500-million euros plan, which is at the same time the basis for a future high-segment car by Alfa Romeo.
