Presentation Alfa Romeo Stelvio in November 2016
The management has confirmed in Geneva that Alfa’s first SUV will indeed be named Stelvio and that it shall be revealed in November this year. Marchionne recently disclosed the name in Cassino already, where now the first test mules are being assembled. The Giulia will enter production March 14th, as we said last week.
The Alfa Romeo Stelvio will be built on the Giulia’s platform, meaning rear- and all-wheel-drive versions can be expected. In terms of engines, too, we can expect to see the Giulia’s line-up, V6 Quadrifoglio included.
Harald Wester (picture) has meanwhile confirmed that a more powerful version of the 4C is coming. Within two years we can expect an extra sports car as well. Rumour even has it that the Giulietta-successor is scheduled for 2017 already. Confirmation was given that the MiTo won’t be replaced, while a bigger SUV with up to seven seats is in the pipeline together with a coupé and Spider based on the Giulia.
