First Fiat 500 America will be auctioned via TwitBid

Fiat is trendsetting as it aims to sell the first example of the Fiat 500 America via TwitBid, a Twitter product that allows you to bid online at products. When bought, your Twitter nickname will also appear on the 500, the video (below) shows how easy it actually works. Bidding starts at 1 euro, begins tomorrow and ends the 15th of March. The Fiat 500 America is recognized by the ‘Blu America’ metalic with 16′ wheels and American striping and badges on the side of the car. Underneath it is a 1.2 8v Euro5 engine with 69hp. Average consumption is 5.1l / 100km with 119g CO2 per km. Normally it has a trade value of 12,019 euro, but anything can happen during auction. This creative solution is made possible thanks to PR and commercial agencies Hagakure and Leo Burnett-ARC Worldwide. The Fiat 500 America will presented to the public at the Geneva Motor Show.
