Abarth will produce a  series of the recently in Bologna presented Punto Scorpione. The car will be named ‘Supersport’, this car will only hava a different color compared to the limited Scorpione (left car on the image, 199 units). The Supersport will have the color Grigio Campovolo. The Supersport looks very aggressive with it’s dark satin finish. The Abarth will be powered by the same 180 hp, 1.4 MultiAir engine as the EsseEsse. Further technical specifications are the same for both cars. Of course this car will be noticeable, by it’s state of the art striping and it’s black finished spoke rims. The interior has some unique characteristics which make the car exclusive.

The introduction of this version is the only remarkable news for Abarth in 2012. As is seen on the photo’s, the car which is used for the Supersport version is still based on the Punto Evo. One says that Abarth will introduce the new version based on the Punto MY2012 next year. A limited top of the range powered version with 200 hp, is one of the outlooks. A B-segment car which is completely new will become available when Fiat replaces the current Punto, in 2014.
