All Italian icons including Abarth, Alfa Romeo, Fiat, Ferrari and Maserati have the occasion to be present during the Spa Italia 2012 event, this year dedicated to Lancia. The 11th edition of Europe’s biggest Italian oriented car event will take place in the weekend of 28 – 29 April on the famous Spa Franchorchamps circuit. Whether you own a Ferrari 458, an Alfa Romeo Giulia or a Fiat 500 the famous Belgian circuit is the ideal place for tifosi to gather, demonstrate and share their passion and possessions. The program features a Tourist Rally, a Grande Parade on the circuit, (free practice) sessions for sports cars and a proper ‘Concorso d’Eleganza’. Every year a particular marque or carrozzeria is in the center of attention. Last year it was de Tomaso, the year before that Alfa Romeo because of the centenario (100 years).

This year all eyes are set on Lancia and some historic models which celebrate their birthday. The 20th anniverisary of the Lancia Hyena (only 24 made), the 40th of the Stratos, the 50th of the Flavia Coupé and the 80th of the Lancia Augusta. A noteworthy history we should say since ‘Lancia & Cie Fabbrica Automobili’ started back in 1906. For those who own a Lancia, a special entrance package is available. Ever wanted to own a rare Hyena? Here is your chance: a black 1995 Lancia Hyena will be auctioned without reserve during this years RM biennial event in Monaco (estimate not published yet). Based on the Lancia Delta Integrale EVO, it is a unique Zagato design made between 1992 and 1996. Another rare beauty that will be hammered is a Ferrari 166 Spider Corsa.
