New Stile Bertone general director is Michael Robinson
Italian design house Stile Bertone has appointed former executive brand and design director at Bertone Michael Robinson as their new general director. Mike has an unquestionable reputation in italian design for Fiat and Lancia. He started working in Turin in 1986, dedicating around ten years of his career at Lancia (1991-2001), creating some refined examples like the Lybra and the controversial but eccentric Thesis. He will replace Franco Carretto who will retire. For the 55 year old Robinson born in Los Angeles, Italy is his second nature. After he joined Fiat (2001-2005), we could well claim Lancia has become more American than he is.
