We already knew that the new Fiat 500L has the maximum score in the NCAP-crash tests. However, the European organization for safety tests has now reported that this spacious Italian is in fact the best choice in the B-segment. The same also counts for the new Ford B-Max. NCAP has made a list at the beginning of 2013 of the most safe new vehicles of last year; “2012 Top Choices for Safety and Recommended Vehicles”. The 500L earned 83 points out of the maximum 100 according to the latest standardization. There were 36 newcomers last year, but only 7 of them (including vans) earned such a high score.
