Maserati has informed its clientele, that it will show a new model at the Paris Auto Show later this month. We still don’t know what kind of car this will be, of course we anticipate on a completely new model, like the successor of the Quattroporte (photo). This car is ready for production, the first test assembly runs are made.

Other options are also possible; it could also be a new version of the GranTurismo or GranCabrio. Something in the order of a new concept car is almost as interesting as a completely new model. According to CEO Harald Wester, who just recently mentioned something of a compact sports car by Maserati. This light sports car with mid engine, will probably be called GranSport. The technical part of the car will be inspired by the Alfa Romeo 4C, which is also assembled in Modena. So we have to wait till the 27th of September, than Maserati will reveal its news.
