From the second quarter in 2012 Lancia will introduce a four wheel drive system on the Thema. The new sheets for Fiat’s production plan made this clear to us, but not only Lancia will have an AWD version, also Chrysler will use this system. Alongside the debute of the Flavia convertible this will an important introduction of Lancia this year. By expanding the Thema range with this ‘integrale’ model it is very likely that the 8 speed automatic gearbox from ZF will make its debut, in combination with the V6 diesel (which we drove earlier, with a 5 speed automatic gearbox). Autoedizone’s next rendezvous with the Thema will be with the 3.6 V6 petrol, which has 286 hp and is connected to an 8 speed automatic gearbox.
