Lancia prepares for the 69th Film biennale of Venice, which is organised from August 29 till September 8th this year. This time the main sponsor of the event will be part of the film entertainment, literally. Producer Gabriele Muccino was involved in creating 5 different commercials and a short film, which is a movie premiere at the festival. Everything is linked to ‘La Dolce Vita’ in this Roman setting. Lancia already promoted the Delta, Ypsilon, Thema, Voyager and Flavia with this staging in combination with the title ‘A date in Rome’.

This is also the name of the website, where the new short film will be presented (name of the film is “She was here”). The website gives some information about the production, which is in typical sixties surroundings recorded and the trailer, which is also available at the end of this article. The lead is for Franceso Scianna and Swedish Helena Mattson. Scianna plays a journalist from southern Italy visiting the impressive Rome. After a while the two (in love) meet again. One has become an American movie star, the other still a reporter in Italy.
