The drafts shown here could be the design of the 2014 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sportwagon. These Alfa Romeo designs are officially from Alfa Romeo’s Centro Stile. That information is shared with the media makes sense in relation to the time it takes to introduce the car. A lot of sketches were already disapproved by the management, so let us examine these drawings more in detail.

We see some curved lines at the side of the car, which were also used for the Giulietta. There is also some kind of robustness in the design which is a complement to the elegance of the car. So a nice evolvement of the design of the 159 (which also had robustness and elegance combined). We expect that Alfa Romeo will use the common design trend of sharply edged rear- and headlights. Especially the rear lights show a remarkable evolutionary design approach. Just as the Giulietta, the drawings show that the edges of the body move towards the reflector. The nicely shaped rear sides of the car, combined with a curved rear window, underlines the stylish impression (but we cannot guarantee that it will be production ready). Looking at these drawings, we expect Alfa Romeo will introduce the Sportwagon at the same time as the saloon.
