Aventador Jota Geneva 2012: Lamborghini Aventador J already sold

Lamborghini’s extreme one-off of the already extreme Aventador, the Aventador J, has already found its owner. A presentation by the brand originally from Sant’Agata Bolognese was held yesterday evening in true VAG tradition. Besides the usual number of press invitations at the Lamborghini stand, a vast number of people from the Middle East were present. Could the Aventador J have been sold to a prince from one of the oil producing countries? That could well be the case. This extreme super car somewhat comparable to the SLR Stirling Moss, has the same 700 hp 6.5L V12 from the normal more ‘practical’ Aventador. The ‘J’ is build almost entirely out of the latest, most strongest carbon fibre there is, called the (almost human-like) ‘Carbonskin’. The unknown buyer has coughed up an amazing 2.1 million euro for the roofless Aventador.
