Once again new spy photos have been revealed from Fiat’s ‘Ellezero’ project that show us details of the interior. Website Alvolante was able to get hold of these images after exterior details of the mini Crossover on ‘B-wide’ platform already had been revealed on our website. It is clear FGA has chosen again for a basic set of design features in line with the 2012 Fiat Panda. Still, the only unknown aspect is not the most unimportant: its final name for which a lot of suggestions have passed by like ‘Multipla’ or ’600′.

Compared to the Fiat Panda (its interior is basically inspired by what Centro Stile Fiat has called the ‘Squircle’ shape) we can see a lot resemblence between the two cars. Although the Panda is based on this design philosophy, the ‘Ellezero’ presents a somehow different idea in the form of a ‘computer mouse’ (interesting to know what Centro Stile will call it). The application of it is omnipresent in the interior and has a very vivid appearance, whether you look at the steering wheel, door handles or front seats. Even the hand brake (picture below) has an interesting ‘mouse like’ shape just like the Panda. Impossible not to notice this solid looking device.

Despite that not every element is unique to the ‘Ellezero’. FGA has used similar black framed panels above the dials and gauges before. We have seen this for example on the Dodge Dart were these panels cross all the way to the right just above the board computer similarly to the ‘Ellezero’. This displays once again the increased ties between Fiat-Chrysler, now on their way in becoming one big family. The Dodge Dart has of course a lot in common with the Alfa Giulietta. Moreover controlling the airconditioning in the ‘Ellezero’ also hapens in the same way like the Giulietta (picture here above) if we look below the sat nav panel.
