The new Fiat 500L,  which is build in Serbia has been spotted in the United States. The new compact Fiat crossover was seen in the rather unusual underground parking of  Inside Line, an independant news source. Although the editors of Inside Line do not seem to be aware of anything, we assume they could have a rather interesting relationship with ‘insiders’ from Fiat in Detroit. The recently presented 500L at the Geneva Motor Show was shipped to Auburn Hills, to be prepared for the official market introduction by the end of this year or Q1 2013. A lot of adjustments won’t be needed, as the car is developed for both the European and North American continent. In fact, the 500L was initially designed only for the US market. The Americans have described the unique handbrake we already know from the Fiat Panda as being ‘quirky’. The striking design of the front and rear seats that is typical Fiat nowaydays is quit ‘funky’.
