Ferrari has officially announced the online unveiling of the 599 successor (‘F152’) will take place next week on Wednesday the 29th of February. We guess Ferrari will show some pictures earlier than that so follow our website! On Ferrari’s website you can see the contours of the new ‘hyper-GT’, some already know what the exact dimensions will be and when looking at these pictures it seems Ferrari has chosen a new philosophy. Normally a new car is bigger (and heavier) than its successor, but Ferrari has chosen to scale down their ultimate GT model. It is said that the F152 will be shorter (49mm), lower (60mm) and narrower (20mm). This all means that it is very likely that this new model will be lighter than the 599, taking in consideration that the 6.3 V12 engine produces over 700 hp it will be a recipe that cannot fail. Test data confirms this, the 0-200 kph time is 8.5 seconds and a lap at the Fiorano test track is done in 1.23 min.
