Basis Fiat 500X and Jeepster now also spotted in Turin

Shortly after the first scoops from America, today we see that, thanks to Autoblog.it, the same prototype for the Fiat 500X has been spotted in Turin. It’s even a model suited for the American roads, given the fact that there are reflectors on the side of the bumpers. That the future B-segment SUV and CUV now also has been spotted in Italy might be good news for those closely following the developments within the Italian automotive industry. That’s because the big factory of Mirafiori, where now only the Alfa Romeo Mito is being produced, has been waiting for the construction of the assembly lines for the Fiat 500X and Jeepster for quite a while now.
Now that this first phase of numerous tests for the upcoming year is also spotted around this factory, there’s a big chance we’ll soon have the honor of publishing the news that the construction works have started in this Fiat factory. The front of this test model reveals we’re seeing a completely new car here. For the first test models of the 500L, the bodywork of the Qubo was used for a long time. The successor of the MiTo will also be using the same platform.
