Attempted record of 1000 Ferrari’s at Silverstone
During the upcoming event at Silverstone, Ferrari owners will attempt to set a new record for the Guinness World Record book. Their goal is to improve the old record which consisted out of 500 Ferrari’s on one strip of tarmac. But their intention is not only to improve it, but to double the number of Ferrari’s taking part in setting the record, so 1000 cars. This all should take place during the Ferrari Racing Day on September 15. An extra condition for the record is that all the cars should be moving. Besides the attempt to set a record, this is an unique event, with lots of different Ferrari’s and some interesting demonstrations of F1 cars, the Ferrari FXX and the 599XX. Visitors can also see the Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, which is organised by the Ferrari Club Challenge and the Pirelli Ferrari Open. We expect Ferrari to show the new F12berlinetta at Silverstone.
