Alfa Romeo Germany gets new Brand Manager

With a clear perspective Henk Salomons will start as Brand Country Manager for Alfa Romeo in June 2012. Henk Salomons was born in the Netherlands and will replace Marco van Aalten, who has left Alfa Romeo at his own request. Already before he gets into office he has set some clear targets. As Brand Country Manager he wants to strengthen the brands image and the brands identity. With only the MiTo and Giulietta in the program, he wants to prepare the market for new introductions in other segments and upgrade the (current) fleet sales. This was all reported by the importer in Germany. From the start of June he will be responsible for the operative results and the positioning and the image of the Italian brand.
Henk Salomons will report directly to the executive board of Fiat, to Martin Rada. He worked at Lego in the Netherlands, at Levi Strauss, Yamaha and Suzuki before he changed to Sator Holding as commercial executive. At Alfa Romeo Henk Salomons is a familiar face,as from 2006 till 2008 he was already managing executive for Alfa Romeo in the Netherlands.
